Back in March this year Chris Sumner (A.K.A Grecian the Lion), Kate Blackburn, Adam Wright, Steve Fowler and Dave Jones set off from Hereford in a hire car to embark on a charity event to raise money for the Adam Stansfield Foundation and Free Kicks Foundation. They visited all 92 Football League grounds in England & Wales in under 80 hours (77 Hours and 28 minutes to be exact!)
The support received from family, friends, fellow s...supporters of Exeter, Hereford and Yeovil as well as support from other numerous clubs on the way around the grounds was fantastic.
Some of the clubs visited were generous enough to let us have items such as signed shirts, pennants, footballs, free tickets etc, which we shall be auctioning off.
Tickets are just £5.00 with all proceeds from the ticket sales and the auction going to the Adam Stansfield Foundation. There are a limited number of tickets, so buy yours now to avoid disappointment later on.
The Auction is taking place on Saturday 23rd July. Doors open at 6:30pm with a 7:00pm start.
We have a professional auctioneer, but promise the night will be full of laughter too!
We will have guest speakers to talk about Adam's life, the Foundation and of course tales from the Around the Grounds adventures.
Once we have collated all items and have put them into lots, we shall upload pictures and descriptions to this page.
We hope to have as many of Adam's family, current and former team mates in attendance, so this is going to be an event note to be missed.
