FOUR Devon lads have been looking for sturdy and dependable transport to complete a 1,250-mile banger rally from Lille to Barcelona – and vehicles don't come much more robust than a tank.
Liam Palk and three friends from Tiverton have converted a battered old Audi to look like a tank and the vehicle will roll off from Lille on a route covering Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland before heading along the French Riviera into Spain.
